Target-Rich Environments

Seattle is an unusual city in that there are few attractive, intelligent, and fun women running around. (that tri-force is so hard to get, but oh so worth it) Perhaps the overcast climate forces women to cover up and thus hide from my radar, but I could not confirm my theory until I had a few friends come and visit me. Each one would note that after a few days of going out, they noticed there were very few women out on the town, even on a Thursday or Friday night. In contrast, when I go traveling to San Francisco, New York, DC, or Austin, I find myself swamped in target-rich environments.

So what is a PUA to do? There are really a few plausible options short of joining the priesthood or changing teams and moving to Capitol Hill (gay central in Seattle). You can either find yourself an LTR and take yourself out of the game, you can leave the city entirely, or you can make the best of it by looking harder.

Indy and I are avoiding LTRs at all cost and we can't leave the city for at least six months, so we must move on to option 3. We started day-gaming during our lunch hour and would run off to the nearby mall or college campus to sarge the locals. We found department stores are target-rich at all times, even during a lazy Tuesday noon hour. Community colleges are packed with lower intelligent but higher attractive HBs (since I'm not looking for LTRs, I'm really lowering my standard on intelligence and focusing on my ability to generate attraction and build rapport). And you've always got the option of yoga or pilates classes.

But you want to know the best target-rich environment available, especially in Seattle? Dancing! I went to the Century Ballroom last night with Indy and did an introductory salsa class, and I met some of the most fun, cute, and intelligent girls in the shortest amount of time. Not only can I show off my body (well, it's not amazing yet, but I'm getting there), but approach anxiety completely goes away and I can engage in kino instantly. Some girls were squeezing my biceps and shoulders, and one girl kept squeezing my hands as a direct IOI. Unfortunately the cutest girl of the night did not give me the same IOIs, but Indy is inviting her friend (and hopefully her) to a party next weekend, so I will have a chance to regame her, hopefully with cocky-funny (not sure if I'll be great at Juggler yet).

So I'm signing up for salsa classes very soon and I intend to dance twice per week to get better. Indy and I also noticed how happy and energetic we felt after dancing with girls before we go sarging. We were both charged and in state, ready to open up HBs all over town. So I think I found a great hybrid of improving my dancing skills, meeting young HBs regularly (and a few cougars, to boot), getting some regular cardio to complement my weightlifting, and get myself in state. It was perfect!

You'll be seeing me at Century Ballroom a lot more soon. Hell I'll take classes at other ballrooms just to meet more HBs.

    Hey man,

just bumped into your blog. I immediately identified with a lot of things: I'm also 25, got introduced to the Game a few months ago, and have inner game issues. Hell, even our blog templates are the same!
So just wanted to say, from one rafc to another: good luck, and keep training.

    Fabz.

Hey Fabz, game on and don't give up. I'm training probably a solid four nights per week now and I'm hoping to ultimately be training all the time, no matter where I am. It's a long road but oh so rewarding. I see you recently got your first email close in March -- congrats! Despite all the sets I've opened, I still have yet to build the courage to ask for a # or email. I'm such an RAFC! But I've found some great wings and we're not going to give up until each of us is a rock star.

    Game on!
